SLU-PP-332

SLU-PP-332 (ERR Agonist / "Exercise Mimetic")

Exercise-mimetic research compound targeting oxidative metabolism

Research Status: Preclinical; early research compound SLU PP 332
Mechanism of Action

How it works

SLU-PP-332 is an agonist of the estrogen-related receptors (ERRalpha/beta/gamma), master regulators of mitochondrial and oxidative metabolism. Activating them is studied to mimic some metabolic adaptations of endurance exercise.

Areas of Research

What the research explores

In published research, SLU-PP-332 has been studied in connection with the following. These describe findings reported in the literature — not approved uses, claims, or outcomes to expect.

  • Activates ERR oxidative-metabolism pathways
  • Studied as an "exercise mimetic" in models
  • Investigated for endurance and fat oxidation
  • Researched for metabolic and body-composition markers
  • Novel mechanism distinct from incretins
